Ember is a recent purchase from my cross country
trip to PA, where I purchased her at the Mid-Atlantic Morgan sale. I grew
up with Trophy bred horses, so I've
always loved the Old Government lines and the breeding programs based upon them.
As such I was really draw to this mares pedigree and as soon as I walked into the stall
with Ember, I fell in love. With impeccable ground manners, and a
gentle and giving nature, she is truly a sweetheart to work with! Well
broke as a hunter mare, in the sales ring she was very elegant looking and just
as prim and proper in her manners as she is on the ground! This mare
really gets under herself and has beautiful, lofty reach on front, poetry in
motion to sit and watch! She is a
maternal sister to WC Jr. Exhibitor Park Saddle horse HVK Noble Flame.
I am so glad to be able to add this mare to my herd
and am looking forward riding her all
summer and fall. The photo of her dam (below) is at 24 years young - still
introducing new students to Morgans and riding, I hope to have Ember as long!
NOT FOR SALE:
Ember gave me a stunning filly (retained - by Intrigue) in 2010 and will be bred
this spring for a 2012 foal.
