Johnny is
a real character, and barn named after the great Johnny Cash, as all our colts
this year got called after Country & Western artists!
This boy has fairly heavy Trophy breeding up closer in
his pedigree then you normally find now a days, and he shows the classic
athleticism that goes with the lineage! His dam is the quietest mare to
work around, and is a good mom, never fussing when you want to play with the
foal, one of those mares who just never gets worked up about anything!
Johnny and Hank spent last summer at a girlfriends helping
her mow her acreage! She commented on how fast he is
and that 'boy, he CAN turn!' - I guess he ran circles around the other foals and
her yearling! Future reiner or CDE horse perhaps, as he definitely has power
and agility! Born a couple weeks early, he is now stretching up nicely and will fill out after this growth spurt!
